I moved to California from Scotland and it took a wee while to get a new flat and a new recording set up. Now that I have them, I’m getting back into the swing of recording regular videos.

In this video I talked about how it all went. It wasn’t all successes: I lost a handful of sentimentally valuable books in the course of the move. But on the bright side, I’m getting to know my new local library system and shared a few books I’ve checked out recently.

As for the future: I’ll be posting a book haul of the books I’ve bought since moving. In lieu of my monthly wrap-ups, I’m planning to post a recent reads video with highlights and recommendations of the books I read over the summer.
